How are the Christmas products made?
Each Christmas item made at this local studio in Melbourne, is individually crafted and handmade by one special elf who has loads of experience with Christmas designs. Each stocking, sack or advent calendar takes between eight and sixteen hours to make. I cut out each design with scissors and hands! And I sew them together on my sewing machine. (Probably whilst listening to the footy or Christmas carols in the background!) Products are appliqued with metallic thread and decorated with Christmas charms and sequins, which are sewn on by hand. They are also lined with Christmas fabric and quilted. All wording is embroidered in gold metallic thread and jingle bells are added to give that special Christmas feeling. These goods are of the highest quality and make traditional heirlooms for years to come.
Can I pickup my order to save on postage costs?
Definitely! In the second half of the year I attend a variety of markets in Victoria. If your order is ready I can bring it along to one of these markets with me. Please contact me immediately after you have placed your order if you would like to pick it up and I will organise a date and time with you. (And this way I get to see your face when you first see your Christmas gifts!)
